Raised
in a family steeped in the literary, film, and music industries,
as a child Ms. Prescott's playground was the stage at Carnegie
Hall owned at the time by her father. Her interest in literary
pursuits was sparked by her aunt, Pulitzer prize winner Barbara
Tuckman, and summers spent on Martha's Vineyard with the house
crowded with literary, film, and music notables. Ms. Prescott
established and worked her own literary agency in 1984 until the
mid-nineties, at which time she sold two of her own scripts back
to back and moved into the script consulting business. She has
since sold/optioned several more screenplays and continues to
work full time as a consultant. Ms. Prescott established the active
Celluloid Crest membership website for studio and indie producers.
